Personal Use Licence
Every wallpaper you buy from What On Earth TV comes with this licence. It is deliberately short and written in plain English. When you buy, you are buying the right to use the images personally — the copyright stays with us.
What you can do
- Use the wallpapers on any device you personally own or use — desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, watch. All of them.
- Keep private backup copies for your own use.
- Use them within your household — one purchase covers one household. If your partner wants the same whale on their MacBook, that is fine.
- Use them forever. This is a lifetime licence with no renewal, no expiry, and no ongoing fee.
What you cannot do
- Resell the files, in any form, altered or not.
- Redistribute or share the files — no sending them to friends, no uploading to wallpaper sites, forums, Discord servers, torrents or cloud links.
- Use them in print-on-demand products, merchandise, or anything you sell.
- Mint them as NFTs or list them on any blockchain marketplace.
- Include them in datasets used to train AI or machine-learning models.
- Use them commercially in any way — client work, marketing, apps, websites, streams, publications or products.
- Claim authorship or remove any embedded attribution.
The fine points
One purchase licenses one household. The licence is personal to you and cannot be transferred or sub-licensed. What On Earth TV retains copyright and all intellectual property rights in every image; the images are original works created with human direction and AI-assisted tools. If the licence is seriously breached we may revoke it, though your statutory rights are never affected.
